Bounties are an upcoming feature on Boundless. The docs below describe how they will work when they launch.
Bounties on Boundless are tasks with a reward. Funders lock payment in trustless escrow; claimers complete the work and receive the reward when conditions are met.

Key concepts

  • Bounty A task plus a reward (in XLM or other assets), held in escrow until completion.
  • Claiming model How the reward is assigned (e.g., first-come, best submission, judge choice). See Four claiming models.
  • Lightning round A time-limited window for claiming. See Lightning rounds.

For claimers

  • Browse open bounties and filter by skill, reward, or claiming model.
  • Apply for bounties according to the rules of each bounty.
  • Build reputation by delivering quality work.

For creators

  • Create bounties by defining the task, reward, and claiming model.
  • Fund escrow; once the task is completed and verified, funds release to the winner(s).
