A mode combines an entry type (Open, Application light, or Application full) with a selection (single claim, where one contributor is chosen, or competition, where several compete and the best wins). See Bounty modes.

When you’re selected as the winner (or one of the winners), the reward is released from escrow to your Boundless wallet in USDC. You can hold it, use it on the platform, or withdraw it and convert it to local currency on an exchange.
