A bounty is a task with a reward. The reward is held in escrow until someone completes the work and is selected according to the bounty’s claiming model.
There are four main models: first to complete, best submission, split/multiple winners, and custom. See Four claiming models.
A lightning round is a time-limited window during which claimers can submit. After it ends, no new submissions are accepted. See Lightning rounds.
When you’re selected as the winner (or one of the winners), the reward is released from escrow to your Boundless wallet. You can hold XLM, use it on the platform, or off-ramp where available.
You can open a dispute and provide evidence. See Handle disputes.
