TL;DR: Organizing on Boundless is self-serve. You fund a program, contributors do the work, a human review step decides the outcome, and the escrow contract settles payouts in USDC. Some organizer screens are still rolling out.
The shared flow
Every program, bounty, hackathon, or grant, follows the same four steps:- Fund: your budget is locked in on-chain escrow when you publish.
- Work: contributors apply, submit, or ship.
- Review: a human decides: you pick a winner, a panel scores submissions, a reviewer approves a milestone, or the community votes.
- Settle: once review passes, the contract releases payouts, usually within about a minute.
Every program follows the same path: fund, work, review, settle.

Judging
Hackathons are decided by a panel scoring submissions against a rubric. If you’re inviting judges, or judging yourself, see How judging works.Organizing is self-serve, but some of the screens are still being designed and rolled out. Where a flow isn’t fully available in the app yet, this guide describes how it works so you know what to expect.
