Boundless availability, including KYC (powered by Didit) and off-ramping when it launches, depends on your country or region. Withdrawing your Stellar assets from the platform requires KYC. Restrictions are in place for regulatory and provider reasons.

Frequently Restricted Jurisdictions

Boundless does not support users located in the following (non-exhaustive) jurisdictions due to international sanctions and regulatory requirements:
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Cuba
  • Venezuela
  • Russia
  • The Crimea region
This list is not exhaustive and may change due to evolving sanctions or regulatory requirements. Users in these jurisdictions are not permitted to access the platform or its services.

What varies by region

  • Platform access: Use of hackathons, crowdfunding (Projects), and (when available) bounties and grants may be limited in some jurisdictions.
  • KYC and withdrawals: Identity verification is required to withdraw Stellar assets. KYC is provided by Didit; availability depends on what Didit supports in your region.
  • Off-ramping: Converting XLM to fiat is an upcoming feature; when available, it will depend on region and provider support.

  • When you sign up or use a feature (e.g., off-ramp), the app will show whether your region is supported or if the feature is unavailable.
  • For the latest list of supported countries, check the Boundless app or contact Support.
