Flow
1
Complete the milestone
Do the work described in the milestone (for example, a deliverable, report, or demo).
2
Submit your evidence
Submit your deliverable (a link, file, or the form the program asks for).
3
Review
The program manager or a designated reviewer checks your submission against the milestone criteria. This review happens off-chain.
4
Payout
Once your milestone is approved, the organization signs the on-chain claim and the milestone’s share is released from escrow to your wallet, usually within about a minute.
Each milestone’s amount is set when the grant is published (the position’s share of the budget, divided across its milestones). See Grant types.
If a milestone is rejected
If your submission doesn’t meet the criteria, the milestone can be rejected. Rejections are final for that milestone, so review the milestone description carefully before you submit, and talk to your program manager about how to proceed. If you believe a rejection was unfair, see Disputes and moderation.Tips
- Match your submission to the milestone description to avoid delays or rejections.
- Keep your evidence clear and self-contained so a reviewer can approve it without follow-up.
