TL;DR: Browse live crowdfunding projects, see how close each is to its goal and where it is in its journey, and open one to vote or back it.

What you’ll learn

  • Where to find projects
  • How to read a project card
  • What the different project states mean

Find a project

Open Crowdfunding to see live projects, or use Discover to browse projects alongside everything else on Boundless. Crowdfunding items are called projects (not opportunities), because you back them rather than compete for them.

Reading a project

Each project shows:
  • Funding progress: how much has been raised toward the goal.
  • Milestones: the stages the creator will deliver, and how funds release across them.
  • Who’s behind it: the creator, and the delegated reviewer who validates milestones.

Project states

A project moves through a few stages, and what you can do depends on where it is:
  • Voting: the community decides whether the project should launch. Any signed-in user can vote.
  • Funding: the vote passed and the project is live; you can back it.
  • In delivery: the creator is shipping milestones; funds release as each is approved.
  • Completed: all milestones delivered.
