    Boundless is a platform on the Stellar network for bounties, grants, hackathons, and crowdfunding. It uses on-chain escrow, reputation, and managed wallets (the platform holds your balance; passkey sign-in is planned for the future).

  <Accordion title="Do I need crypto experience?">
    You don't need any. Get started with the [quick start](/start-here/create-your-account) and [set up your account](/concepts/wallet-and-balance). The app guides you through the rest; Boundless manages your balance, so there's no wallet or seed phrase to set up.

  <Accordion title="What is USDC?">
    USDC is a US-dollar stablecoin on the Stellar network. On Boundless it's used for all payments, rewards, funding, and payouts. What you earn goes to your Boundless balance, shown in USD. See [Tokens and wallets](/reference/tokens-and-wallets).

  <Accordion title="Can I convert earnings to my local currency?">
    Boundless pays you in USDC and does not convert to local currency itself. To cash out, withdraw your USDC (this requires [KYC](/start-here/verify-your-identity), powered by [Didit](https://didit.me/)) and use a cryptocurrency exchange that supports USDC on Stellar.
